The Capital Area Regional Tolling Authority (CARTA) is seeking a qualified consultant to provide staff resources and technical expertise to implement and operate CARTA’s Toll Program, including supporting the on-time delivery of Yolo 80 Managed Lanes Phase 1 (Yolo 80). As of February 2025, CARTA does not currently operate any toll lanes in the Sacramento region. Some residents have received texts claiming to be from FasTrak.. The following is a fraud alert from the FasTrak website regarding these text messages: 

CARTA has submitted a Toll Facility Application to the California Transportation Commission (CTC) pursuant to Assembly Bill (AB) 194. This application requests authority to build and operate toll lanes on Interstate 80 in Yolo County. As part of the AB 194 process, the CTC holds a public hearing near the project area to solicit feedback prior to making a decision on the Toll Facility Application…
